An old conflict between Stellar & Ripple (XRP) again surfaced in the crypto sector.

In 2011, Three people David Schwartz, Jed McCaleb, and Arthur Britto started to work on the development of XRP Ledger (XRL). Mccaleb left his active role from the project in July 2013 & started work on another crypto blockchain Stellar Lumens (XLM). To left XRPL project, McCaleb received huge amount of XRP tokens & sold all the received tokens.

It is often that Ripple (XRP) officials never show interest to talk about Mccaleb, to remain away from any big controversy between crypto projects & maintain innovations in the crypto sector with a collaborative approach.

In Aug 2022, a crypto Twitter user asked Ripple CTO David Schwartz about his greatest criticism of Stellar.

Schwartz failed to respond, in order to remain away from any conflict but McCaleb responded and claimed that XLM McCalebned threatens XRP.

On 8 May 2023,  the XLM founder joked about XRP’s ongoing program in Las Vegas & indirectly pointed the attention toward XRP Lawsuit.

After this, within a few hours Ripple CTO shared a video clip of a person holding a grenade while sitting in the car and described him (McCaleb) as the biggest fool.

On 10 May, XLM founder said that people are talking about this fight between two crypto token founders and noted the majority of the news reports indicating that Ripple CEO badly harassed him through the response tweet.

For this Mccaleb demanded an apology from Ripple CTO.

Further Ripple CEO responded and confirmed that he will surely apologise but with a coffee at Starbucks.
